No!!  Having an entrance mat installed would be hugely beneficial for helping control dirt and moisture that is being walked in from the front of your building.  However, there are other places where grime, spillages and litter can be walked over your floor coverings.  Ravenhead Services will survey your property free of charge to locate the most effective places to install mats and help keep your building clean.

Ravenhead supply a mat cleaning service to a wide range of different businesses.  Carpeted mats that are effective in hotels and cafes would not be sufficient in a work shop or garage environment.  For these types of industry we provide hard wearing mats and modular matting which are designed with high scraping and draining properties.  These are ideal for the removal of excessive dirt and moisture.

The levels of dirt and moisture that one of our mats can pick up over one week is frankly astounding.  These mats are produced to the highest quality and can hold up to 2.7 grams of dirt / 2.4 grams of moisture per square metre.  Unfortunately, if the mat reaches these levels and is left unchecked the dirt that has been collected can be picked up on the soles of shoes and gradually spread across the floors of your building.
